Thursday
- Arrival at SJO Airport: Arrive in time for a 2 PM departure to La Fortuna. Along the way, we’ll make a stop for lunch and a chance to browse souvenirs at the midway point.
- Arrival in La Fortuna: Check-in at the Volcano Lodge. Relax and unwind after your journey, surrounded by lush gardens and the soothing sounds of nature.
Friday
- Breakfast at the Lodge: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast surrounded by the beauty of the property.
- Relaxation Day: Spend the day enjoying the hot springs, lush gardens, and sauna on the property. This day is designed for you to rest and rejuvenate after traveling.
- Optional Excursions: For those seeking adventure, today is perfect for optional add-ons like zip lining, white-water rafting, sloth tours, chocolate tours, or ATV rides.
Saturday
- Breakfast at the Lodge: Start your day with a delicious breakfast.
- *Optional Guided Volcano & Rainforest Tour: Depart for a guided exploration of the Arenal Volcano and surrounding rainforest. Discover the local wildlife, tropical plants, and stunning views of Lake Arenal and the Green Volcano Lake.
- After the hike, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch (included).
- Finish the day with a relaxing soak at a nearby hot springs featuring 10 different pools to melt your stress away.
- Return to the hotel for an evening of free time.
Sunday
- Breakfast at the Lodge: Another peaceful morning at the property.
- *Optional Wine Tasting & Tour: After breakfast, travel to a nearby family-owned vineyard for an exclusive wine tastingand tour. Learn how they craft and bottle their wines, focusing on the healing medicinal qualities of their natural methods. Sample three different local wines and relax in their serene gardens.
- Lunch in La Fortuna: After the vineyard, we’ll head to downtown La Fortuna for a meal paired with reggae music, offering a vibrant local experience. You’ll have time to browse local stores and pick up souvenirs.
Monday
- Breakfast & Free Time: Enjoy a slow morning with time to relax by the pool or take in the scenery of the jungle.
- Baldi Hot Springs: In the afternoon, we’ll visit the famous Baldi Hot Springs, which boasts over 25 thermal pools. Spend the day unwinding in the mineral-rich waters, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.
- Farewell Dinner: We’ll wrap up the day with a special dinner at the popular Snapper House in La Fortuna, known for its fresh seafood and vibrant atmosphere.
Tuesday
- Departure Day: After breakfast, we’ll check out and head to the airport for departure. All flights should be scheduled after 12 PM.
